NCC Cadets Celebrate Earth Day

NSPS Isru NCC Cadets Celebrate Earth Day with Cleanliness Drive and Plantation under ANO Neha Mehra
Displaying exemplary commitment to environmental conservation, the NCC cadets of Nankana Sahib Public Senior Secondary School, Isru, celebrated Earth Day with a series of impactful activities under the able guidance of ANO Mrs. Neha Mehra. 
A total of 19 cadets, including 07 JD and 12 JW, participated with great zeal. The cadets conducted a cleanliness drive on the campus and adjoining areas, created awareness through chart-making and poem recitation, and planted saplings to promote a greener tomorrow.
Principal Mrs. Neha Dhall commended the cadets and ANO Mrs. Neha Mehra for their dedicated efforts and urged students to adopt eco-friendly practices in daily life. The school trustees, present on the occasion, praised the cadets’ sense of duty towards the environment and stated that instilling such values in the younger generation is vital for building a sustainable and progressive society. They assured continued support for initiatives that blend education with environmental stewardship.
The celebration concluded with a pledge by all cadets to protect Mother Earth and uphold the motto of NCC — ‘Unity and Discipline’.
