INTRODUCTION

  Nankana Sahib Public School was started with a mission to provide best education to the rural belt surrounding Isru in 1986 by Nanakana Sahib Education Trust with a purpose of providing education on Public School Pattern to rural children so that they can compete successfully with urban children to get entry into professional colleges and public services. The school is spread over an area of nearly 3.08 acre. The campus has extensive lush green lawns and lots of greenery.

ACADEMIC

  The School is Affiliated to the central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi for All India Certificate Examination. The Medium of instruction is English. Punjabi and Hindi are taught being Regional and National language as compulsory subjects. Latest guidelines given by CBSE are followed and lot of focus is laid on “Learning by doing”

AIM

 The aim of education is the Professional, Intellectual and moral training of an individual with more stress on learning rather than teaching. We believe that education is an enjoyable interactive ongoing process. We are committed to develop citizens who are aware, sensitive, open minded and creative. Our objective is to inculcate a positive attitude, to imbibe social and moral values and to encourage originality. Our goal is to bring up children who raise questions from independent hypothesis and develop an inquisitive mind.

*Different age groups of students need different types of treatment as per their curriculum and syllabus. Keeping it in mind, the school has been divided into three segments, each segment having its coordinator.

SPECIAL FEATURES
